General Long Beach requirements
Your exact requirements depend on what you sell, how food is prepared and the equipment you use.
Business License
All sidewalk vendors need a City of Long Beach Business License.
Health Permit
Food vendors also need a Health Permit and must meet State food-safety rules.
Other documents
You may need a Seller’s Permit, insurance, food-handler training, approved equipment, and commissary or restroom arrangements.
Operating rules
Maintain pedestrian and ADA access and follow placement, setback and daily operating rules.
